Meet The Team

Kimberly Pinkerton

Kimberly's Business by Design

Kimberly has over 30 years in community and economic development, main street and nonprofit management, business consulting, and nonprofit training. Kimberly has enjoyed working and learning from her experiences with many Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Organizations, Small Business Development Centers, Agriculture businesses, Main Street and nonprofit organizations such as Girl Scouts of the USA, Community Foundations, United Ways, Indiana Chamber Executives Association, Youth Service Bureaus and churches. Kimberly’s collaborations have resulted in using the Harwood Model of Turning Outward for Community Conversations, developing community action plans, leading executive and member trainings, facilitation of both personal and professional retreats, as well as extensive strategic project planning and trainings, board governance, marketing and other areas of nonprofit management.

Kimberly has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management, is a Certified Chamber Professional and has received the Indiana State Chamber Executive of the Year Award and several other recognitions. She has served on many boards including Wabash City Schools Board, Indiana Chamber Executive Association Board, Tri-State Conference Board, Heartland Career Center Board of Advisors, Ivy Tech Advisory Board, Hoosier Heartland Industrial Corridor Board, and Wabash Redevelopment Commission. Kimberly is the mother of five children, loves all things outdoors, but especially camping and hiking. She is also known for her love of reading and when not working, you may find her on the porch swing absorbed in a good mystery book.

Shae Kmicikewycz

Community Development Coordinator

Shae began her career as a Main Street Director, securing $1 million in downtown development funding. She went on to lead the Indiana Main Street Program under OCRA working with not-for-profits on board development, strategic planning, brand development and nonprofit management. She also created new State Main Street initiatives, including grant programs. Shae is currently a Community Development Coordinator and has secured funding for road infrastructure, economic development, façade improvement, and park improvement through various grant resources.

Macy Troyer

Blossm Social Media

Macy works closely with organizations as the founder of Blossm Social Media, a social media marketing and business consulting agency pioneering the way to elevate brands on social media. She has over 5 years of experience growing brands on social media and has partnered with over a dozen industries varying from startups to multi-million-dollar companies and everywhere in between. Amy Beechy

CEO, Project Matters LLC

Amy has been making positive changes in communities for almost 20 years. After working in various areas of nonprofit management, Amy started her own consulting firm, Project Matters LLC, in 2009. Project Matters engages in community development and specializes in program feasibility, planning, implementation, and outcomes with a focus on entrepreneurship, education/training and healthcare.

Clients include economic development organizations, community foundations, Chambers of Commerce, United Ways, postsecondary education institutions and healthcare organizations.

Brittany Scott

Project Administrative Assistant

Brittany has over 7 years of experience working in administration in a variety of fields from church office and preschool assistance to medical education, banking, and logistics in the shipping industry. Brittany’s passion lies in working with clients to convey their dream and vision through quality support, branding and design, whether that be through writing content, research and documentation, or website and graphic design and advertising. Brittany enjoys new challenges and opportunities to learn and in her free time, she loves traveling, DIY projects around her 1880’s home, hiking with her husband and two dogs, and spending time with family.

Adam Clevenger

Loring, Sternberg & Assoc.

For over a decade, Adam has created donor-centered and sustainable fundraising programs for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Before joining the Loring, Sternberg and Associates team, Adam served as Regional Collaboration Manager for the YMCA of the USA, working closely with 300 local Ys to support their board development, annual and capital fundraising efforts. In addition to annual support efforts, he has been a key leader on staff teams raising $80 million in capital contributions.
